Day 13 asks me for my favourite quote. I always say “I’m me.” Or, sometimes I say “It’s my life.” Not really brilliant quotes, but a couple of sayings that actually sum me up; I am my own person and I am not going to be swayed by whatever the crowd is doing, or whatever is the fashionable thing to do – unless I actually want to of course! Basically, I live my life my way.
I do have another quote that I love.
“If you didn’t see it with your own eyes, hear it with your own ears, then don’t invent it with your small mind and spread it with your big mouth.”
I have loved this quote for many years because it says an awful lot. It reminds us not to talk shit about people, not to subscribe to rumor and gossip.
